MoreVictor holds a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Robert Gordon’s University in Aberdeen. He has worked in the oil industry for more than 35 years in the design & development of both wireline & MWD products. He participated in the detailed design and project management of all aspects of Geolink’s Orienteer suite of products. Prior to joining Azimuth he held the position of Drilling NPI Leader at GE, where he directed development and engineering of the Tensor, Orienteer, Bluestar and Ultima product offerings. Victor holds a number of granted patents and applications for patent in the field of MWD.
Mike holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Professional Certificate in Business Management. He has 24 years oilfield experience. During that time he has worked for several major international service companies applying logging and surveying tools at wellsite. During the last 10 years he has been deeply involved in both the theoretical and practical aspects of design, development and commercialisation of new downhole MWD tools. Prior to joining Azimuth, Mike held the position of Research & Development Manager for the GE MWD product line in Aberdeen.
Tony gained extensive international experience in the oil services industry in the areas of Mud Logging, Geological Consultancy, Seismic Services, Wireline Services and MWD. From 1979 to ’89 he was Managing Director of the Geodata Group of companies and, additionally, from ’86-’89 he was an International Vice President of Gearhart Industries. In 1989 he co-founded Geolink (MWD Design & Manufacture) and subsequently Unidril Energy (MWD Equipment rental). These companies were sold in 2004 to Sondex. Mr. Moorley has retained involvement in the energy sector through his chairmanship of HRH Ltd. and is also a director of A-eon Technology.
